Devout began in 1998 created by Seattle artist, Sara Lanzilotta. Her dolls and soft sculptures have been featured in numerous stores and galleries as well as a very well received appearence in the Seattle Art Museum. Most widely known for her freakshow dolls, Sara produces characters that are both cute and oddly twisted resulting in something charmingly humourous and strangely irresistable.
The Devout Tinies all come named and with their own special unfortunate story. Their outfits are all handsewn using vintage fabrics and childrens clothing. Each face is hand drawn and coloured making every doll a unique art piece. The dolls are approximately 5 1/2 " tall and include a black and white checkerboard stand. Colours, faces and fabrics may vary slightly.
